Regional Mobilizer (Southeast, South-Central, Western US)
Job Overview
The Regional Mobilizer works as a member of the Partner Ministries’ Mobilization team to mobilize individuals, ministries, and churches to make Gospel Impact among the nations in partnership with WorldVenture. The Regional Mobilizer will focus his or her efforts on educating, coaching, and recruiting on college campuses, in local churches, and through strategic events in their specified region of the US. The Regional Mobilizer will report to the Director of Mobilization and Mentoring with frequent collaboration with the Partner Ministries Leadership Team (Vice President, Director of Administration, and the Director of Development) as well as other key stakeholders within the organization.
Job Description
Location: While this position is remote, we will give preference to candidates who reside in the Southeastern, South-Central, and Western states of the US.
Position Responsibilities:
- Strong agreement with WorldVenture’s Statement of faith
- Identify, engage, and cultivate new and existing partner relationships with a focus on long-term missionary service with WorldVenture
- Develop strategies to broaden awareness of WorldVenture amongst known colleges, seminaries, partner ministries, and church partners for WorldVenture as well as develop new partnerships that align with WorldVenture’s strategic priorities
- Speak at key colleges, seminaries, campus ministries, churches, and key gatherings to identify, attract, and recruit future missionaries to WorldVenture
- When possible, meet face-to-face with interested candidates and pastors to develop relationships and gauge interest and readiness for missionary service with WorldVenture
- Advising potential missionaries through spiritual mentorship, discipleship, missions coaching, and the candidacy process, ensuring proper fit, readiness, and placement
- Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring mission opportunities, mobilization practices, and external communication
- Strategically plan and organize travel for maximum impact while considering budget constraints
- Participate in and contribute to the daily life of the Partner Ministries team including attending all regularly scheduled prayer calls, meetings, trainings, online community interactions, and special events (as needed)
- Remain current on all WorldVenture policies and procedures related to the recruitment, screening, and onboarding of new missionaries
- Track and report progress using established metrics while maintaining appropriate records of candidate information and interactions in Salesforce to ensure that there can be continuity and collaboration the role
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Engaging and excellent communicator orally in both public and private settings, as well as in written proposals/materials. Must be skilled in engaging others via face-to-face, video calls, phone, and email
- Strong networking and collaborative leadership skills
- Proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively
- Extreme discretion, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence
- Forward thinking, creative, outside-the-box thinking, and able to develop and execute plans with concrete targets and goals while thinking strategically and casting a vison
- Well versed in missiological thought and praxis
- Ability to work remotely and independently with limited supervision, self-motivated and disciplined
- Willingness to work nights and some weekends as needed and accommodate meetings across multiple time zones
- Comfort with and ability to utilize technologies including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRMs, and Social Media

- Team player displaying humility and a learner’s attitude
- Person of prayer. Willing to pray with and for candidates, as well as participate in WorldVenture staff prayer.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience
- A solid understanding (via formal or informal education or training) of the Bible and God’s missional and redemptive heart
- Proven experience in leadership and mentorship
- Previous cross-cultural ministry experience preferred
