Religious Studies Teacher – Saint Maur International School  

Religious Studies Teacher (Elementary School Grades 1-5)

Saint Maur International School is seeking a suitably qualified Religious Studies teacher, who holds a high level of biblical literacy and has experience teaching this subject at each grade level in the Elementary School. In upholding the Christian ethos of the school, those applying should hold a personal affinity with the Christian faith and authentically model Christian teaching. The teacher is to be one of the torchbearers of faith in the community, serving the Catholic heritage and tradition of the school. The successful teacher will arrange a program of daily prayer for the students, organize two Elementary School Assemblies during the year, and also show a willingness to support the spiritual formation of the students through afterschool Catholic Club. The teacher should be ready to fully embrace the school’s mission and values, ‘Saint Maur International School, founded in 1872, providing a quality and nurturing education based on Christian principles’. The school context is one where 40-plus nationalities and many religious backgrounds are represented within the student body.
