  • Improve & Innovate: Keep an eye on Rock's features and updates, recommending enhancements that make ministry more effective.
  • Guide & Document: Create clear processes, documentation, and workflows that empower users.
  • Build & Configure: Use no-code/low-code tools in Rock to set up event registrations, forms, dashboards, and more.

What You Bring

Job Description

Job Summary/Primary Role: The Rock RMS Administrator will serve as the gatekeeper of ABWE's Rock RMS platform, ensuring the system is used effectively, securely, and strategically across the organization. This role will oversee requests, provide support, document processes, and maintain holistic awareness of Rock's features and updates. The Rock RMS Administrator will support staff and missionaries with troubleshooting, feature requests, and process improvements, while partnering with the Director of Technology Operations to align system use with ABWE's broader mission. This role is ideal for someone who can wisely evaluate requests and make sound decisions, while also having the persistence to see projects through to completion with excellence.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Acts as gatekeeper for Rock requests, maintaining system integrity and organizational alignment.
  • Provides troubleshooting support and resolves user issues in a timely, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintains holistic awareness of Rock features and updates, recommending solutions and enhancements as appropriate.
  • Processes and evaluates initial feature requests from staff and missionaries.
  • Documents and communicates clear processes and workflows for staff and missionary users.
  • Provides regular Rock RMS training to staff and missionaries to encourage user adoption of features and functions.
  • Supports CRM administration functions as needed.
  • No code/low code configuration of Rock RMS features.
  • Creates and edits event registrations, forms, dashboards, and other tools within the Rock ecosystem.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.

Qualifications: Ability to pass background check and all necessary clearances as mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Prior Experience:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and database administration.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, Lava scripting (preferred), SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Request intake & evaluation: translating user needs into clear acceptance criteria and documenting processes/workflows.

Preferred Prior Experience:

  • Prior Rock RMS administration experience.
  • Experience documenting workflows and providing user training.
  • 2+ years administering a cloud CRM or church-management platform (Rock RMS, Salesforce, CCB, Planning Center, etc.), focusing on configuration and user support.
  • Ticket triage and resolution (Tier 1) using a helpdesk tool, with clear, service-oriented communication.
