Job Description:

As a Roller Skating Rink Attendant, the applicant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility while delivering exceptional customer service to the guests. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

–       Assisting guests with renting roller skates and ensuring proper sizing and fitting.

–       Providing guidance and assistance to guests, especially beginners, on skating techniques and safety procedures.

–       Monitoring the skating area to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

–       Enforcing rink rules and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons.

–       Assisting with special events, birthday parties, and group bookings as needed.

–       Handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently at the ticket counter or concession stand.

–       Performing routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping the skating floor, cleaning rental equipment, and restocking supplies.

–       Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, comments, and concerns.

–       Collaborating with fellow team members to uphold cleanliness standards and overall facility appearance.

Requirements:

–       Must be 16 years or older.

–       Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

–       Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

–       Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with guests of all ages and backgrounds.

–       Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.

–       Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and enforce rink rules effectively.

–       Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
