Harvest House Publishers is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Senior Editor to help us produce biblically grounded nonfiction that speaks to the issues shaping our world today—topics such as Christian living, devotionals, self-help, apologetics, prophecy, and current events

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with acquiring editors and authors to shape powerful manuscripts.
• Ensure strong theological clarity and editorial excellence throughout the process.
• Assist with developing titles, editing content, and guiding books from draft to print.
• Communicate with authors and manage revisions through galleys and proofs.
• Support the brand team and production pipeline from start to finish.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in Christian publishing or editorial roles (3+ years preferred).
• Can edit at substantive, line, and copyediting levels.
• Exceptional eye for content quality, clarity, and doctrinal consistency.
• Effective communicator and relationship-builder with authors and team members.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and passionate about publishing eternal truth.
• BA in English, Journalism, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
