Wapakoneta Baptist Church (WBC) is seeking a pastor to lead a small but committed group of believers. Wapakoneta is a rural community of just under 10,000 people located in West Central Ohio. WBC cooperates with the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio and the Southern Baptist Convention. Our congregation seeks a pastor who will not only preach, but live God's word with us. Our congregation is loving, caring and desires a pastor that will lovingly lead us to follow God's plan for our lives and our church. We are looking for a strong leader with organizational skills, a heart for missions locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally, and can relate to and reach across all age spectrums.

The successful candidate must affirm and support the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. The candidate must meet the criteria as outlined in the Bible: Titus 1:6-9. 1 Timothy 3:1-7, and 1 Peter 5:1-4, and other similar passages. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a senior pastor and will have completed ministerial training at an accredited institution.

While we are seeking a pastor committed to serving full-time, compensation is limited thus the candidate must have additional sources of income.
