Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Pastor who is called by God to provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and vision for our congregation. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a compassionate shepherd, and a visionary leader with a heart for evangelism, discipleship, and missions.

Key Responsibilities

Preaching and Teaching: Deliver engaging and biblically sound sermons that encourage personal reflection and spiritual growth, challenging the congregation to live out their faith with intentionality.

Pastoral Care: Provide empathetic and supportive pastoral care, offering guidance during personal and spiritual challenges, particularly in times of crisis, illness, and bereavement, and assist members in making wise, faith-driven decisions.

Leadership and Vision: Guide the church, its leadership, and the congregation in developing and implementing a clear, forward-looking vision for the church, with a focus on spiritual growth, outreach, and community involvement.

Administration: Oversee the administration of the church, including staff supervision, budgeting, and church operations, in collaboration with the church council and other leadership teams.

Community Outreach: Lead and participate in community outreach initiatives that reflect our church's commitment to serving others and sharing God's love in practical, impactful ways.

Discipleship: Foster a culture of discipleship within the church, encouraging members to grow deeper in their faith and take personal responsibility for their spiritual journey.

Missions: Promote and support mission efforts that emphasize the importance of sharing God's grace and love with others, both locally and globally.

Qualifications:

· A clear and demonstrated calling to pastoral ministry.

· Ordained and in good standing with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).

· A strong commitment to the doctrinal beliefs and practices of the Southern Baptist faith.

A bachelor's degree, preferably with formal theological training (MDiv preferred).· Minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience, preferably in a senior pastor or associate pastor role.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

· A heart for evangelism, discipleship, and missions.

· Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, leadership, and the congregation.
