Comers Chapel Baptist Church is searching for its next Senior Pastor! We are a well established church in the fast growing community of Madison, NC, right outside of Greensboro. Comers Chapel strives to be a church that loves God and loves others! We like to say we are "the perfect church for imperfect people".

God has recently breathed new life into our church, and we are searching for someone who will be able to keep the fire stoked and see God continue to do great things here! Our church has a great footprint in our community, and we desire to continue that!

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

The pastor must meet the Biblical qualifications for a pastor as outlines in 1 Tim 3 and Titus 1

Spiritual Leader:

– Has a personal walk with Jesus

– Devoted to prayer

– Model Godly living

Teaching and Preaching:

– Spend much time in study and prayer

– Lead Sunday morning worship

– Lead Midweek Bible study

– Actively engage in other discipleship programs

– Guide the church body with Biblical principles and teaching

Pastoral Care:

– Regularly engage with and visit members of the church

– Be available for counseling

– Actively practices hospitality

– Active at church events

– Be authentic and pursue deep relationships with the people

– Be open to giving and receiving accountability

Leadership and Administration:

– Strong organizational skills

– Oversee church leadership, staff, and volunteers

– Work with church leadership to plan church calendar
