Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Be a lead pastor, a shepherd/teacher who understands and can explain the gospel of Jesus Christ and teach the implications.
• Preach & teach the word of God with enthusiasm & perform other pastoral duties including communion, weddings, funerals, baptisms, dedications, etc.
• Regularly meet and participate with elders to provide leadership, counseling, & encouragement
• Care for, guide and equip staff
• Work with various leadership groups to pursue our mission to "connect everyone, everywhere and every day with the love and message of Jesus Christ."
• Provide Guidance in developing and executing an overarching strategy for ministries
• Working with elders and ministry leaders ensuring a discipleship culture is developed and maintained.
• Planning corporate worship services with Worship Director
• Support and avail self of the Forest Lakes District ministries
