First Baptist Church of Decherd, Tennessee, is prayerfully seeking a full-time senior pastor to preach, teach, provide leadership and minister to the spiritual needs of our congregation. The church is located in a small-town setting in middle Tennessee within close proximity to several towns. As a member of the Duck River Baptist Association, the church adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message. We are seeking a pastor who is able to effectively proclaim the gospel of Christ and is able to lead and humbly undershepherd the congregation. An outgoing, personable pastor who connects well with people of all ages would fit this loving congregation well.
