Senior Pastor

Established over 140 years ago and located in the heart of historic Matthews, NC, First Baptist Church of Matthews is seeking a Senior Pastor. Candidates should have previously served in a similar position with a mid to large-size church and be an experienced servant leader. Qualified candidates will have a seminary degree with a minimum Master of Divinity degree. The senior pastor will oversee 7 pastoral/ministerial and 8 support staff positions. FBCM has 400+ average weekly attendance and agrees with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
