Senior Pastor

Established over 140 years ago and located in the heart of historic Matthews, NC, First Baptist Church of Matthews is seeking a Senior Pastor. Candidates should have previously served in a Senior Pastor position and be an experienced servant leader. Qualified candidates will have a seminary degree with a minimum master's degree. The senior pastor will oversee 7 pastoral/ministerial and 8 support staff positions. FBCM has 400+ average weekly attendance. We are a non-reformed Southern Baptist church and agree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
