Garden Lakes Baptist Church, located in Rome, Georgia, is seeking a full time Pastor, called by God to lead in the next chapter of fulfilling God's will for His church here. We are searching for a pastor who will lead us to focus on carrying out the church's mission of "exalting the Lord, equipping the laity, and evangelizing the lost" while loving others with the love of Christ. GLBC is affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and affirms women in all areas of ministry.

Some characteristics and skills that we are looking for in a pastor are:

Effective communicator of Biblically based teachings and evangelism

Accredited seminary degree with at least 5 years of experience

People-person who engages with the congregation and community.

Effective administrator

Energetic participant in church activities

Compassionate, discerning focus on others

Visionary, collaborative planner for the future of the church
