The International Christian Community Marseille is a vibrant, growing, English-Speaking Evangelical Church in Marseille, France.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Lead pastoral care of church members and weekly worship including preaching.

 Lead and co-coordinate outreach to the English-speaking international community of Marseille

 Lead Bible studies, one-to-one discipleship ministry and ministry outreach events.

INITIAL TIME COMMITMENT: At least three years with openness for longer-term

Job Description

ESSENTIAL:

 Male with pastoral heart and gifting to lead ministry of a small but well-established multicultural, ethnically-diverse international, English-speaking church in Marseille (~50 people)

 Ordained or completion of at least two years of seminary

 Able to preach well and teach well in English

 Meets biblical qualification of elder per Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Tim. 3:1-7.

 Biblically conservative evangelical. Doctrinally Reformed

 Able to lead and multi-task fairly independently in a small international church setting.

 Given to hospitality

 Preferably available by the end of 2024

HELPFUL:

 Ability to speak French or willingness to learn French

 Married

 Previous cross-cultural ministry experience

 Previous chaplain experience

 Administrative and computer skills
