Liberty Point Missionary Baptist Church in Cadiz, KY is prayerfully seeking candidates for a full-time Senior Pastor. Our congregation of approximately 200 is located in Trigg County in Western Kentucky.  Liberty Point Missionary Baptist is affiliated with the Little River Baptist Association, Kentucky Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. Qualifications:

• Spiritual qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 shall be applied to the pastor
• Must be an ordained Southern Baptist Minister
• Pastor serves as an example to the church
• Shall keep himself from worldly affairs and be above reproach in conduct and finance
• Personal and spiritual character must be above reproach
• Must be an excellent example of spiritual leadership among the church body

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Spiritual leader of the church
• Responsible for the worship services, oversees all ministries, and church staff
• Preach the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and inerrant word of God
• Exercise prayerful and diligent oversight of the church
• Keep watch as one who must give an account
• Earnestly seek the salvation of the lost through missions and personal evangelism
• Promote the edification of the believer
• May appoint ministry task groups to assist in carrying on the Great Commission
• Serve as the moderator of all business meetings
• Serve as an ex-officio member of all committees of the church
