Marshfield First Baptist Church is a community of believers for all generations, dedicated to worship, spiritual growth, and service. We are committed to spreading the love of Christ and making a positive impact in our community. Our church has two services on Sunday morning with average attendance over 350. Our mission is, To glorify God and see lives changed, which is accomplished through a rich history of ministry and missions, both locally and nationally. Our vision for the future is, To take the Gospel to every neighborhood in our 65706 & beyond, through dynamic worship, deep discipleship, and active outreach. We are prayerfully seeking a man called by God, who is passionate, experienced and biblically sound to be our full-time Senior Pastor. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a gift for preaching and teaching, a vision for church growth and community outreach and a heart for pastoral care.

Responsibilities:

• Preach and teach the word of God.
• Provide spiritual leadership to the congregation.
• Seek a God-given clear vision for the church, and be able to guide the church in strategic planning and vision implementation.
• Serve as the chief administrative officer of the church, overseeing and directing all other employees.
• Provide leadership to ministry staff for development and implementation of ministries and committees.
• Work with deacon body in developing a partnership in church ministries, primarily to church members in areas of Pastoral care, prospect outreach and personal evangelism.
• Engage in community outreach and foster relationships with local organizations.
• Provide pastoral care, counseling and support to church members in need.

Qualifications:

• A deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a commitment to spiritual growth, demonstrating spiritual leadership abilities, and commitment to living out biblical principles in daily life.
• Ordained minister with a Master's Degree from an accredited seminary.
• Minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience, preferably in a senior leadership role.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• A heart for pastoral care and community engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, deacons, church leaders, and volunteers.
• Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Marshfield First Baptist Church.
• Hold to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and the MFBC Constitution.
• Must meet qualifications of elder as referenced in Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7.
