Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church in Lebanon, KY is seeking candidates for a full-time Senior Pastor and will receive resumes until October 31, 2024. We are located in Marion County in Central Kentucky. Due to our unique location on the Marion/Taylor County border, membership is drawn from both counties. Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church was established in 1874 and will be celebrating its 150th anniversary in November.

MHBC subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, Kentucky Baptist Convention, and Central Baptist Association. We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord's Supper. The Senior Pastor is the spiritual leader of the church, responsible to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and is committed to living and serving in a manner consistent with the standards set forth in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9). We do not adhere to Calvinist doctrine.

Some of the most important responsibilities of our pastor include:

Preach the Word of God.Plan and conduct the Sunday morning and evening worship services; Wednesday prayer meeting; prepare and deliver sermons; lead in observance of ordinances.Lead the church in an effective program of witnessing and in a caring ministry for persons in the church and community.Regularly visit members (including hospitalized, homebound, nursing home, assisted living, etc.) and prospects.Conduct counseling sessions; perform wedding ceremonies; conduct funerals.Serve as chairman of the Church Council and work with deacons, church officers, and committees as they perform their assigned responsibilities; train and lead the deacons in their ministry.Act as moderator of church business meetings.
