Our bylaws state that Parkway Baptist Church is a "traditional-style worship service Baptist Church." The Bylaws also state that the Pastor "be ordained by this or another Church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

The Bylaws state that "The candidate for Pastor shall" meet the following qualifications;

The Senior Pastor candidate shall . . .

(a) Possess the qualifications of Pastor found in Scriptures.

(b) Be an ordained Non-Calvinistic Minister with at least a Master's Degree in Divinity from a seminary [M Div] affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

(c) Possess a servant's heart, dedicated, caring personality, pastor's heart, compassionate, committed, true to his calling, and a deep concern for those who do not know the Lord.

(d) Have a deep sense of commitment to support his call from God.

(e) Interact well with all people age groups.

Parkway Baptist is looking for a person who is between 40 and 59 years of age, married or married with children and has at least five to ten years of experience as a pastor.
