Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Baker, Florida is actively and prayerfully searching for the Senior Pastor, whom God has chosen to lead our dynamic congregation. Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church is a loving family-oriented, multi-generational church located in a growing area of the western Florida panhandle. Our church, established in 1888, has a weekly service attendance of 375. The church is looking for a Spirit-led Senior Pastor with the gift of effective preaching and teaching of the Word of God. He needs to meet the scriptural qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. He shall be one who by calling, training, and proven ability has demonstrated that he is spiritually mature, and believes that all who call on the name of The Lord and accept His free gift of salvation by grace through faith will be saved. The church's pastoral staff positions include associate pastors for children, youth, senior adults, worship and a satellite campus (located in Crestview, Florida).
