We are a small, elder led Baptist congregation prayerfully seeking a pastor to shepherd us with humility and a deep commitment to Christ and His Word. Our church is God centered and rooted in Scripture, desiring to glorify God through faithful discipleship, expository preaching, and equipping the saints for the work of ministry.

Job Description

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates a life and character in line with the biblical qualifications for pastors, as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
• Strong theological foundation, holding to the historic doctrines of grace.
• Seminary education from a trusted, biblically faithful institution.
• Passion for expository preaching, systematically teaching the whole counsel of God.
• A heart for missions, committed to equipping the church for both local and global outreach.
• Gifted in discipleship, shepherding, and pastoral care.
• Able to inspire and mobilize the body to engage in the community with the love and truth of Christ.
• Willingness to serve in either a vocational or bi-vocational capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Preaching and Teaching: Faithfully proclaim the Word of God through expository preaching, with a focus on God centered, Christ exalting truth.
• Shepherding: Provide spiritual leadership, guidance, and pastoral care for the congregation.
• Missions and Outreach: Lead the church in fulfilling the Great Commission through local community engagement and partnerships with gospel centered ministries.
• Equipping the Saints: Train and disciple church members to grow in their faith and serve effectively in ministry.
• Leadership: Work alongside the elders to provide vision and direction for the church, emphasizing humility and servant leadership.

Our Church: We are a congregation of approximately 50 members, committed to glorifying God through worship, discipleship, missions, and community impact. We believe the church exists to make disciples who love God, love others, and make His name known.

Expectations: The pastor will lead with a pastoral heart, emphasizing relationships, prayer, and servant leadership. The role requires a man committed to honoring God in all aspects of ministry and life, fostering a culture of humility and dependence on the gospel.
