Our Senior Pastor will preach Biblically sound expository sermons, provide leadership, direction and training to church leaders and congregants. Visitation of those unable to attend worship is deemed important.

Position Qualifications:

MDiv or equivalent from a conservative seminary is essential. 5 years experience as a Senior Pastor is preferable.

Description of Organization

St. John's "Burrys" Church is an independent, conservative congregation in the German Reformed tradition. We are located in rural Rochester, Pa about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh. Worship music is a blend of organ/piano hymns and more contemporary "praise" songs. We have a "campus" consisting of our Sancturary, manse, cemetery, playground, ballfield, picnic area and 30 acres farmed by church members for mission. We are governed by a church council consisting of Elders, Deacons and Trustees. Typical Sunday worship attendance is approximately 150.
