Position Summary:We're seeking a Small Groups Director who is passionate about discipleship and helping people grow in authentic community. This leader will oversee the vision, strategy, and execution of all small groups and adult discipleship environments. The ideal candidate is relational, organized, spiritually mature, and excited about developing leaders who multiply groups and foster connection across the church.

Key Responsibilities:Cast vision and lead strategy for healthy, growing small groups across all life stages and backgrounds.Recruit, train, and coach small group leaders, ensuring they feel equipped, supported, and empowered.Identify and raise up new leaders to launch new groups and meet growing needs.Provide ongoing care and connection for current group leaders through check-ins, gatherings, and leadership development.Manage group signups, promotions, and tracking, including quarterly group launches and seasonal campaigns.Collaborate with teaching and creative teams to align group content with sermon series when applicable.Create onramps for people to get connected in groups, including Sunday opportunities, online platforms, and personal follow-ups.Work closely with the Next Steps and Connections Team to ensure seamless integration from Sunday guests to group life.Oversee and manage the group systems and platforms (e.g., Planning Center, Church Center App).

Qualifications:A deep, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.A love for people and a strong passion for discipleship and authentic community.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Experience leading or coaching small groups in a local church setting.Ability to develop leaders and build healthy systems.Team player with a heart for the mission, vision, and values of Southridge Church.Background check required.

Bonus Qualities:Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Mandarin)Experience with Planning Center, Church Center App, or similar toolsPublic speaking/teaching abilityCounseling or pastoral care experience
