Are you passionate about discipling the next generation? Do you have a heart for students and families, and a desire to see them grow in Christ? We are seeking a Student Minister to lead a Christ-centered, biblically faithful ministry to students in grades 6–12.

This position may be full-time or part-time, depending on the availability and calling of the candidate.

About the Role:The Student Minister will oversee all aspects of student ministry, including weekly gatherings, discipleship opportunities, student outreach, and volunteer leadership. You'll work closely with the Senior Pastor and other church leaders to integrate students into the life and mission of the church while maintaining a safe and gospel-focused ministry environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead weekly student gatherings, Bible studies, and discipleship groups.
• Organize and lead events such as retreats, camp, Disciple Now, mission trips, and outreach.
• Build relationships with students and support parents as primary disciple-makers.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd adult volunteers.
• Communicate clearly with students, families, and church leadership.
• Participate in the broader life of the church.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, background checks, and abuse prevention training

Qualifications:

• A credible profession of faith in Christ and a life of spiritual maturity.
• A clear calling to gospel ministry in line with 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
• Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Strong relational and leadership skills.
• Ministry experience preferred; theological education a plus.

Additional Information:This role requires completion of a background check and approved sexual abuse prevention training. Depending on whether the role is full-time or part-time, additional ministry responsibilities (e.g., college ministry, pastoral care, communications, etc.) may be included based on gifting.
