Job Title: Part-Time Student Minister

Compensation: $235 per week

Hours: Negotiable

Overview:

Providence Baptist Church is seeking a committed and Christ-centered individual to serve as our part-time Student Minister. This position is responsible for leading and discipling students (grades 6–12) in alignment with the mission and values of Providence Baptist Church.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead weekly student ministry gatherings (e.g., Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings and nights)Build relationships with students and their families through consistent communication and presenceTeach Biblically sound doctrine.Coordinate events such as retreats, mission opportunities, and outreach activitiesReport to the pastor for regular feedbackEnsure all student ministry activities are conducted in a safe and welcoming environment

Qualifications:

A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000A passion for discipling students and fostering spiritual growthExperience in youth ministry preferred, but not requiredMust pass a background check and adhere to child protection policies
