PURPOSE: Join the Senior Pastor in equipping and leading Cornerstone Baptist Church in evangelism, ministry, and discipleship of children, youth and their families. The youth minister is directly accountable to the Senior Pastor, and the Cornerstone Baptist Church body.

DUTIES: The following is provided as a guideline and not meant to be totally inclusive. The youth minister should always be seeking the leadership of the Lord as well as guidance from the Church family for all service and ministry.

• Coordinate and administrate a Youth Ministry Team.
• Coordinate and lead ongoing training for all who teach youth Bible studies, including Sunday school and Discipleship (small groups).
• Develop and lead a support ministry for parents of youth.
• Coordinate and administrate all youth events such as camps, concerts, mission trips, retreats, etc. All events should support the purpose, values and mission of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
• Develop and maintain nurturing relationships with youth and their families.
• Establish and maintain regular church office hours.
• Attend at least two training events per year and pursue other avenues of ministry and spiritual growth.
• Train and involve youth in evangelistic outreach.
• Teach and equip youth to do the work of the ministry, serving within the body and community.
• Maintain a lifestyle worthy of the calling as outlined in the Holy Scriptures.
• Coordinate and lead small groups for students on Sunday evenings.
• Coordinate and lead the Wednesday worship/outreach service for students.
• Provide input and support of children's ministry by leading the R-Town Ministry Team.
