As the Student Minister for Calvary Baptist Church, you will have the exciting opportunity to aid in the growth of young Christians and help us further our purpose, bringing the gospel to all the nations. Qualifications:

Must be a Christian that demonstrates integrity in the workplace and in his personal life.

Possess a general knowledge of youth ministry.

Be willing to follow the guidelines and terms of the Policy and Procedure Manual (Constitution & Bylaws) and the Employee Handbook of the Calvary Baptist Church, Bowling Green.

Responsibilities:

Supervise entire Church Ministry for students Middle School through College.

Serve in cooperation with existing Youth leadership.

Give high priority to the biblical teaching of students.

Develop a discipleship strategy for producing mature Christian students.

Mobilize students to engage in service ministry.

Plan and attend fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and outreach events designed to lead teenagers to maturity in Christ.

Train and equip volunteers and parents to be uniquely beneficial in our student ministry.

Communicate pertinent ministry information to membership through church bulletin, newsletter, internet, etc.

Assist, when needed, in providing pastoral care to membership; especially to members under the leadership of the Student Minister.

Attend pre-approved periodic training or conferences, at the church's expense, that seek to sharpen skills in respective areas of student ministry.

Attend all major events in the church's life: revivals, church-wide meals, church connection events, etc.

Organize and lead Mission Trips and/or Camps/Retreats for students.
