As the Student Pastor, you will work to execute our vision for Center Students, by coming

alongside parents to support them in the discipleship of their children. This vision includes

providing age appropriate, Gospel-centered, biblical instruction for students in 7-12th grade. This

role will also require moments in other roles such as but not limited to leadership, preaching,

coaching, and counsel within the church that will help execute our vision and mission.

Job Description

Developing Students through teaching, preaching, and relational discipleship- The Student Pastor will be responsible for developing and implementing a vision for our students that is in line with the vision and mission of Center Church Brenham. This will include leading the students by teaching them the word of God in ways that engage their hearts and impact their lives. Along with this we want to see our students not simply come to faith but grow in their faith through intentional discipleship.

Coordination and development of a volunteer team- As part of our plan to invest in the lives of our students, the person filling this role will be responsible for recruiting and developing volunteers who can help with the student ministry as well as discipling students.

Curriculum– The Student Pastor will lead our students in learning the truth of God's word to be lived out in daily life. They will work with the Elders to ensure that curriculum is aligned with the theology and doctrine of Center Church. They will work to resource parents to continue discipling their students beyond our gathering and will commit to regular prayer for the salvation of Center Students.

Scheduling, Policies and Procedures– As the oversight for the ministry, the student pastor is responsible for implementing all policies and procedures that are outlined in a Center Students handbook that will need to be developed. This is to ensure a safe, secure, and loving environment for the students and volunteers of Center Church.

Cultivating Relationships- has a heart to develop intentional relationships with people in our church so that they might flourish in their gifting and spiritual health. Part of this cultivation would include the participation in a Missional Community and Equip Group.

Discipleship– As a part of the staff team one of the key callings of leadership is to be committed to pouring into the lives of others on a regular basis through relational discipleship.
