POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a great opportunity for a self starter who is comfortable working in a nontraditional work environment. This is not a 9-5 traditional office setting. There is a lot of flexibility and the ability for a visionary leader to set his own pace. The expectations are still high, but the structure of how you get your work done is something you will have a lot of control over.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Student Pastor is responsible for providing environments that are safe, centered on discipleship and that motivate young people to live like Jesus.
• Plan, manage, and lead weekly student gatherings, events, outings, camps, and other events.
• Oversee students and student leaders and provide training, teaching, equipping, and organizing for the volunteer staff of youth workers.
• Identify and develop a Student Leadership Team which multiplies influence. We want our students to contribute to the well-being of their church and not just take for seven years and then leave.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Living within character qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-13
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar field.
• Can teach well and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Vision driven and action orientated – an inherent desire to achieve exceptional results.
• Self-starter who is organized and responsible.
