Student Pastor Roles & Responsibilities
Raising "a generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face, God of Jacob"
Youth Pastor Responsibilities Disciple all students in the way of following Christ
Build relationships with students by involvement in sporting events, extracurricular activities, and community
Counsels students as needed
Plan and prepare weekly youth ministry services for Sunday & Wednesday
- I.e. Lessons, Music, Games, Food, Etc.
Coordinate events and activities for students throughout the year
Plan at least one of each to attend each year
- youth conference
- youth camp or mission trip
Be involved in youth activities and community outreach
Attend weekly and other required staff meetings
Assist the pastor with ministerial duties as needed (preaching, visitation, etc)
Schedule and provide available office hours which also includes field hours
Schedule quarterly meetings with students and parents to provide update
Children's Director Responsibilities
Plan and prepare weekly children's ministry services for Sundays and Wednesdays
- I.e. Lessons, Music, Games, Food, Etc.
Recruit and schedule volunteers to work in the children's ministry
Plan and coordinate events and activities
- I.e VBS, Large outreach events, and Summer Camp
