The youth pastor position is designed to serve in order to help teenagers grow in Christ. We are looking for one that would also serve/lead in worship or children's ministry in addition to the youth. The youth pastor will run youth group meetings on Wednesday nights which will include teaching/preaching from the Bible, and fun activities for the teens. The youth pastor will run youth/children's activities and outreach events throughout the year, as well as direct volunteers and parents that are serving under them. This is a part time position with approximately 10-15 hours expected per week, and a salary of $12,000 a year. Qualifications for the position include a heart for teenagers/children, a proper biblical doctrine that is in alignment with the BFM 2000 and the theology of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and a striving toward the qualifications of an elder found in Titus 1 and 1 Timothy 3.
