Seeking a Summer Youth Leader

First Baptist Church of Lancaster is seeking to hire an enthusiastic, and energetic baptized believer in Jesus Christ to disciple youth. Our church is located in Lancaster, SC, and is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. The church presently has a small but active youth group with many children to be promoted into the program soon. It is ideal for someone who works in education, is a college student or is seeking bi-vocational work.

This position runs from June through August 2025 (exact dates to be negotiated).This salaried part-time position pays $1000 per month ($3000 for the full 3-months).

Responsibilities:

Planning, coordinating, and leading all aspects of our youth program (grades 6-12)Wednesday night bible study and Sunday morning Sunday School and worship serviceAn average of 10 hours a week and Plan and lead at least one week-long summer youth event.Attend monthly staff meetings, Manage expenditures, submit receipts and follow a budget.Serve at the direction of the Youth Committee.

Qualifications we are seeking:

Ideal Candidate:

Lives within 45 minutes of the churchCollege educated or currently enrolled in college.
