This role involves working closely with students to support their academic development, helping the students’ progress in the Salem4Youth program, and assisting with classroom management.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Weekday cottage wake up
• Cafeteria monitoring
• Assist and teach students 
• Help the Lead Teacher to keep students on task and to follow their lesson plans
• Answer student messages and requests relating to their online schooling
• Grade student work and check for legitimacy
• Monitor and check student computers for misuse
• Take students for bathroom breaks
• Help keep materials, books, and school supplies organized
• Monitor student progression and school
• Grade student point sheets and fill out other program documentation
