POSITION Title: Technical Director (Skagit Campus)

Position Hours: 18-20 hours/week

Campus Report: Skagit Campus Pastor

Department Report: Bellingham Technical Director DESCRIPTION Prepare, execute and oversee sound, video and lighting elements for weekend services and other ministries/events when necessary, as well as oversee the volunteers in these areas.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS Oversee tech at Sunday services, weekly rehearsals, run-throughs, mid-week services (monthly) and special events

*Arrive early to pre-check all sound/video/lighting elements

*Accessibility and live mixing during rehearsals, run-throughs and services

*Lead volunteer tech team

*Ensure tech elements at the Skagit Campus are in sync with plans at Bellingham Campus by coordinating with Creative Arts team at Bellingham Campus -Stage design -Light design Create lighting to complement stage designs and special events

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Relationship with God has to be first and prayer a priority

Strong ability to lead volunteer leaders and volunteer team -Enlisting and training volunteers to lead and serve with excellence in all areas of technical production and utilizing Planning Center to schedule teams

Oversight and/or execution of video playback via ProPresenter and Pro Video Sync

Audio engineering oversight and/or execution of Front of House mixing and MyMix monitor system

Oversight and/or execution of DMX lighting system and lighting design

Video recording service and uploading post service

Equipment maintenance, keeping accurate inventory and ordering supplies as needed

Collaborating in planning events at the Skagit Campus (i.e. Christmas services, mid-week services, Easter, Year End Celebration, etc.) that support the strategy and vision of the church

Assist with planning budget for technical needs

Meeting -Meet with Campus Pastor for a one-on-one meeting weekly -Attend monthly Skagit Campus staff meetings -Attend Creative Arts team meeting with Campus Pastor and Worship Director -Attend All-Staff (monthly), Staff Prayer (monthly), Leadership Development, trainings and team building (unless prior approval is given not to attend) at Bellingham Campus or TBD
