Summary of Position

Responsible for creating videos for weekend services, events and the ministries of The Summit Church.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Personal integrity and evidence of ongoing spiritual growth.
• A passion for using video to further the mission of The Summit Church and the gospel.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional video experience.
• Video/ Film degree or equivalent experience.
• Very high attention to detail.
• A firm grasp in all aspects of video production.
• Ability to work well independently and with a team, depending on the project.
• Strong project management skills – an organized, detail oriented, creative thinker.
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines in time sensitive situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for meeting and communicating with various ministry departments and church members.
• Video editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Color grading in Davinci Resolve is a plus.
• A member of the Summit Church or willing & able to become a member.

Responsibilities

• Manages the creation of videos for weekend services and the ministries of The Summit Church and is responsible for each phase of the production process including:
  • Pre-Production: developing treatments, scripts and storyboards
  • Production: camera work, lighting, audio recording
  • Post-Production: video editing, color grading
• Participation in the creative process as needed for branding and marketing for the church.
• Must possess the drive to learn, grow and extend knowledge/skill set and stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools
• Work with the Video Team Director to set goals and expectations for individual and team progress.
