Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) of Lorain County, a Christian non-profit, is hiring a People and Programs Manager (Volunteer Coordinator). The person in this role recruits, trains, and works with volunteers and churches and manages key Love INC programs that mobilize church volunteers to serve people in need.

Job Description

Typical tasks include:

– Leading and facilitating the volunteer journey, including recruiting, onboarding, development, and recognition of volunteers – Onboarding and developing key church liaisons – With the Clearinghouse Manager, developing and growing Gap Ministries (underserved areas of need) within churches – Coordinating with other professional staff the development of Transformational Ministries (development classes for those in need) – Writing communication to volunteers, church staff, and supporters

Typical work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm.
