The Worship and Connections Pastor will provide oversight and direction to the worship, media, and connection ministries of Faith Baptist Church. This pastor will be responsible in leading and planning authentic worship opportunities in efforts to bring the highest praise to Christ alone and providing oversight to all media and communication avenues of the church to ensure active church and community engagement.

The Worship and Connections Pastor responsibilities are as follows:

· Direct the planning, coordination, operation, and evaluation of a comprehensive worship ministry

· Plan and direct any special worship services held by the church

· Be available to assist in the execution of any special services such as weddings and funerals of church members upon request

· Assist the Senior Pastor in the planning and evaluation of worship services

· Coordinate and work with the Student and Childrens ministries to provide opportunities for both ministries to engage and grow in the worship ministry of the church

· Engage, recruit, and train volunteers to assist in the execution of worship services

· Equip worship team and choir members to serve the church with their musical gifts

· Oversee the purchase and maintenance of instruments and equipment as needed

· Oversee all aspects of the media team to ensure proper and correct use of technology in all worship services

· Oversee and provide input on all church management and communication software to ensure good stewardship of church funds and to ensure that best practices are in place

· Enlist volunteers to assist in actively engaging the church and community through social media posts, videos, podcasts, etc.

· Ensure proper communication techniques are employed so that the church remains informed of any upcoming services and events

· Assist the Senior Pastor to integrate members into the life and ministries of the church

· Assist in pastoral care within the life of the church

· Enhance skills in leading, ministering, and communicating through personal opportunities of reading, attending high quality conferences, and formal education

· Invest in a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor
