Job Overview

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our worship ministry, including leading the worship team, selecting and arranging music, and developing the musical skills of our volunteers.

Job Description

• Serve as the main point of contact and maintain the “spiritual health” of the Creative Arts teams: Vocalists, Band, Audio/Visual, and Online Church.
• Lead worship weekly during service(s), facilitating an environment coducive to people being able to engage in worship times.
• Lead the planning of all worship services.

– Scheduling volunteer teams using Planning Center Online.

– Choosing songs, leading rehearsals, and preparing for special elements/events (baptisms, communion, Christmas    Eve, etc.)

– Ensure we are “Sunday-Ready” each week.

– Maintain and cultivate excellence in all areas of Creative Arts.

– Work in conjunction with Senior Pastor’s yearly teaching calendar.

– Download and incorporate Multi-tracks into worship services.

• Collaborate with our entire church staff on strategic, kingdom-minded, all church initiatives to amplify our impact in the city and reach more people for Jesus.
• Meet regularly with the Sr. Pastor to pursue ongoing spiritual and professional growth opportunities.
• Oversee stage design resets from concept to completition.
• Identify and invite new team members while developing current team members.
• Continually seeking ways to innovate and make our creative arts better.
• Oversee and develop all social media for South Union
