PRINCIPAL FUNCTION
We are searching for a Worship Associate to assist in the preparation and execution of creative worship moments while contributing to the overall culture of the worship ministry.
Part-Time, Up to 20 hours/week, Reports to Director of Worship and Arts
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Attend weekly meetings, including worship staff meetings, Providence staff meetings, and other meetings as required.
2. Assist in leading worship for Providence services, rehearsals, special events, and future.
3. Assist in scheduling bands, and leading worship for Students, College, and Providence Young Adult services.
4. Playback rehearsal recordings and collaborate with the worship team for band feedback.
5. Assist in recruiting, development, and discipling of Providence worship team.
6. Oversee the creation of chord charts and playback setlists for worship services and other assigned events.
7. Assist in the onboarding process of new musicians and worship leaders.
8. Assist in creating lyrics for Providence worship moments.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES AND EXPECTATIONS

2. Testify to a personal faith in Jesus Christ.
3. Willingness to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
4. Able to have fun and collaborate well in a fast paced team environment.
5. Have experience with ProPresenter, Planning Center Online, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
