Position Overview Lynn Haven Baptist Church in Vinton, VA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Director to enhance the spiritual growth of the congregation through praise and worship. The Worship Director will work collaboratively with the Lead Pastor in building a music program that is Christ-centered and biblically based. This is a permanent part-time position. Key Responsibilities: Active church participation: Be an active and professing follower of Christ, who will support the overall program of Lynn Haven Baptist Church by being an engaged member. Music Ministry Oversight: Plan, promote and oversee a vibrant music ministry that effectively communicates the Gospel through diverse styles of music including, modern, contemporary, traditional, gospel, and other genres for our 10:30 Sunday morning service. Be capable and enthusiastic about choir and praise team aspects of worship. Budget Management: Prepare and administer an annual worship budget that encompasses music, audio, and visual components. Leadership Collaboration: Work in conjunction with the Lead Pastor to plan services that resonate with the church's mission and vision.
