Worship Director Beacon Church – Londonderry, NH

PART-TIME (15-20 HOURS PER WEEK)

Beacon is seeking a passionate and talented individual to serve as a Part-Time Worship Leader. The Worship Leader will play a key role in leading our congregation in meaningful and engaging worship services. This position requires a heart for worship, strong musical abilities, and the ability to lead and collaborate with a volunteer worship team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead Worship Services: ● Plan and lead worship services in collaboration with the pastoral team;

• Create and curate song selections that align with the church’s vision and message;
• Facilitate a worshipful atmosphere that encourages congregational participation and engagement.

1. Music Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and lead volunteer musicians and vocalists;
• Conduct regular rehearsals to prepare for Sunday services and special events;
• Foster a positive and collaborative environment within the music team.

1. Technical Coordination:

• Work closely with the audio-visual team to ensure smooth execution of worship services;
• Provide guidance on technical aspects related to sound, lighting, and multimedia.

1. Pastoral Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the pastoral team to integrate worship with the overall church mission and vision;
• Participate in planning meetings to coordinate themes and elements of worship services.

1. Spiritual Leadership:

• Model a strong commitment to personal spiritual growth and discipleship.
• Encourage and facilitate a worship culture that promotes spiritual development within the congregation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to a lifestyle of worship.

– Musical proficiency in vocals and at least one instrument (guitar, keyboard, etc.).

– Experience and understand of church service production and technology

– Experience leading worship in a congregational setting.
