Description

Operates under the direction of the Senior Pastor. Must be able to sing, read music and be technologically inclined. Ability to play instruments is preferred but not required. Study music to coincide with Sunday worship service. Develop lyric slides for congregation sing-along, to include music purchases and editing when needed.

Oversee Sunday morning worship operations to include (but not limited to): A morning run-through to check for proper equipment operation as related to audio/video uploads and streaming. Organize and direct music for Wednesday evening service (currently 1 song to be sung with congregation.) Lead Praise Team practice a minimum of weekly, along with individual sessions as needed.

Choir duties (currently seasonal): Alongside the pastor, develop choir programs for Easter & Christmas. Lead Choir practice a minimum of weekly, along with individual sessions as needed. Weekly practice for programs. Recruit congregational talent for complete musical operations. Organize and direct music for funerals. Upload audio and/or video content that is provided for the ceremony. Maintaining and updating audio/video equipment along with the technology committee as needed. Work with committees, ministries and events of the church to provide proper audio/video operations as needed. Participate as an active member of the Finance committee.
