The Worship Leader is responsible for providing leadership in planning, conducting, and evaluating Christ-centered worship by specifically developing disciples and leaders to lead the church in worship. This position will assist the Senior Pastor, Elders, staff and ministry leaders in fulfilling the mission of Capstone Church. This is a part-time position serving approximately 20 hours per week. Position Responsibilities: · Love the church, serve the community, make disciples. · Be available to teach, disciple, recruit, train and encourage. · Lead worship for campus gatherings and other worship events as directed. · Plan worship with staff and creative team. · Schedule band/ Worship Team for Sundays and other gatherings. · Plan and lead rehearsals. · Communicate weekly notes to the band members. This includes band parts, verbal communication for transitions and vision for songs and elements. Upload rehearsal audio mix. Prepare charts/lead sheets for rehearsal. · Evaluate Sundays and other gatherings to provide feedback and coaching to musicians, vocalists and tech staff. · Develop and facilitate a cohesive ministry pipeline to develop worship leaders, musicians and support staff. Identify, enlist, train and deploy volunteers, interns and ministry leaders within music and technical ministry. · Work alongside Technical Director to ensure sound, video and environment are prepared each week. · Be supervised by the Lead Pastor.
