Music Director/Worship Leader

General Responsibilities

Responsible to the Pastor

Work with the Pastor on music for all services and meet weekly to communicate any needs

Maintain weekly schedule for services and rehearsals

Job Responsibilities

Provide music for all personnel involved in services

Coordinate music and responsibilities with organist/pianist

Provide, recruit, and maintain a choir ministry

Responsible for music budget and purchases

Provide an Offertory music schedule and rehearse for services

Maintain a choral library

Work with volunteers to coordinate needs with sound and media ministry

Qualifications

Personal faith in Jesus Christ and heart for ministry

Previous experience in church music ministry leadership and leading blended worship

Ability to prepare vocalists and instrumentalists for services

Ability to administrate a music and worship ministry
