Worship Leader

Job Overview:

The Worship Leader is responsible for leading the musical portion of the church's worship gathering on Sundays and handling any necessary preparation during the week.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Senior Pastor to plan weekly worship services, ensuring that song choices and worship elements align with the sermon and church's mission. Lead the congregation in worship during regular church gatherings and occasional special events. Develop a process to regularly identify, train, deploy, and care for volunteers in the church's worship ministry. Prepare during the week by rehearsing with the team, selecting and arranging music, and coordinating with our Technical Director to ensure a seamless worship experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting. Strong musical proficiency in vocals and at least one instrument, with a good understanding of various worship styles.Ability to lead a diverse team with humility, grace, and excellence.Comfortable using technology, including worship software (e.g., Planning Center), sound systems, and multimedia.A commitment to the mission and values of the church and a passion for kingdom ministry.
