Cross Community Church in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Spirit-led worship leader/director ready to help shape the future of a growing church plant. This role will play a vital role in continuing to build a gospel-centered, multi-generational worship experience.

Located in northeast Houston, Cross Community is a church plant that reflects the Eastex. We love our community and our people, and we want to be a faith-gathering for all. At four years old, our church plant gathers for worship in a renovated space on the grounds of a former local church that closed its doors after a 50-year ministry following Hurricane Harvey. Cross Community seeks to be a contextualized expression of the New Testament church for the next generation.

We are prayerfully seeking someone to help lead our congregation in heartfelt, Christ-exalting worship each Sunday alongside the pastoral staff. This person should be a collaborative leader and possess a vision for theology-based worship that draws people into the presence of God. The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, planning Sunday services, training and developing the worship team, utilizing Planning Center, and ensuring the order of service is created in ProPresenter. This role can be either part-time or full-time. Whether you lead with guitar, keyboard, or voice, we welcome creativity, humility, and a passion for seeing lives transformed.
