Job Overview

The Worship Leader is responsible for leading the congregation in authentic, Christ-centered worship that glorifies God and aligns with the mission and values of GraceWay Bible Church. This individual will prayerfully plan and lead worship services, develop volunteer teams, and cultivate an atmosphere of reverence, joy, and spiritual engagement through music and other creative expressions.

Job Description

• Plan, coordinate, and lead worship services in partnership with the pastoral staff.
• Select music that is theologically sound and aligns with the evangelical identity of the church.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd worship team members (vocalists, musicians, tech).
• Lead rehearsals and ensure all worship elements are prepared with excellence.
• Collaborate on special services (e.g., Easter, Christmas, baptisms, etc.).
• Oversee sound, lighting, projection, and livestream needs related to worship.
• Model and encourage a lifestyle of worship, spiritual maturity, and teamwork.
• Manage worship ministry budget and maintain equipment as needed.
