Overview:National Heights Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as our Part-Time Worship Leader. The ideal candidate will have a strong faith in Jesus Christ, a commitment to the doctrines and practices of National Heights, and a heart for leading our congregation in worship through music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead the musical portion of weekly worship services, including Sunday mornings and special services (e.g., Christmas, Easter, etc.).
• Coordinate and direct the church choir, praise team, and other musical groups.
• Select and arrange music that aligns with the theology and worship style of the church.
• Collaborate with the Senior Pastor to plan and execute worship services.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of volunteers for the music ministry.
• Manage the church's music resources, including sheet music, instruments, and audio equipment.
• Lead regular rehearsals for choirs, praise teams, and other musical ensembles.
• Encourage congregational participation in worship and foster an environment of worship that is Christ-centered and Spirit-led.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall vision and mission of the church.

Qualifications:

• A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life that reflects biblical principles.
• A clear calling and passion for worship ministry.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with church staff, volunteers, and the congregation.
