The WORSHIP LEADER works to accomplish our vision to see lives transformed by Jesus by helping people deepen their love of God through worship.

Job Description

• Create, lead and continually improve a culture of worship in our church in order to see lives transformed by Jesus.  Lead a weekly worship service committed to excellence and designed to help people deepen their love of God.   

• Recruit, empower, train and lead a team of worship volunteers for our weekly worship services.  

• Coordinate and lead an A/V team that supports both our in-person and online services.  

• Design various promotional materials such as sermon art, slides, social media posts, signs, etc.  

• Develop and improve SCC’s social media presence on all applicable platforms.  

• Operate within the agreed upon Ministry Standards of UNITY and REPENTANCE (see Ministry Standards on page 2 of the Employment Application) 

• Lead from a place of OWNERSHIP and CURIOSITY (see Leader Values on page 3 of the Employment Application) 

• Other duties as assigned.
