The Worship Leader, in consultation with the Senior Pastor, will oversee and lead Sunday morning music and A/V needs for the service.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Work with the Senior Pastor to plan and coordinate excellent worship services that glorify God
• Learn, utilize, and keep up-to-date Planning Center Services
• Lead and develop current worship team and recruit new worship volunteers
• Put together slides for Sunday morning
• Become a member of Vine Street Baptist Church and participate in regular church rhythms

Character and Competencies

• Fulfills the character and qualifications of a deacon as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:8-13
• Possesses a genuine love for the local church, and a desire to invest in Vine Street Baptist Church as a church family
• Requisite musical gifting
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities – previous worship leadership experience required
• Ability to organize and lead volunteers
• *Comfortability with secondary theological differences in a congregation*
