Milestone is a young, but growing church committed to be word-driven, holy and humble, prayerful, missional, and loving. Located 30 minutes west of Boston, and on Rt. 135 (Boston Marathon route) in Natick, the congregation is ethnically, and financially diverse. As the Lord, in his grace and kindness, continues to mature and grow the congregation, Milestone is prayerfully pursuing a Worship & Missions (W&M) Minister who joyfully leads the body in glorifying the Lord through biblical and contextual worship and missional opportunities. The right candidate will be one who exemplifies a Christian lifestyle in action, integrity, and communication consistent with 1 Timothy 3:8-13 as well as someone with a strong desire to grow and develop their spiritual gifting and theological acumen.
Character Qualifications
- Give testimony of a personal commitment to Christ and evidence of God's call to service in this capacity
- Give testimony of a passion and burden for ministry
- Present evidence of high moral character and responsible work ethic by reference of former pastor, employers, and colleagues
- Present evidence of high moral character by report of any standard background check
- A commitment to regular prayer, both privately and publicly, for self, the congregation, and local community
Ministry Qualifications
- Theologically aligned with Milestone's Statement of Faith
- Strong vocal skills and experience in worship leading. Advanced in at least one instrument— preferably acoustic guitar or keys
- A missionary zeal and drive for evangelism and mission so as to see many come to saving faith and deep and meaningful discipleship
- Previous ministerial experience preferred

Job Description
Schedule:
The W&M Minister is a full-time position and is required to attend:
- Staff meetings
- Discipleship meetings
- Prayer gatherings
- Members' meetings
- A community group
While leading and serving in:
- Sunday morning services
- Rehearsal practices
- Special events
- Community outreach projects
- Additional events as needed
Worship Responsibilities
Worship Services
- Prayerfully plan, lead, and coordinate weekly worship services with the Lead Pastor that authentically reflect God's glory, in upholding sound doctrine through music that is:
- Commemorative – the lyrics glorify God's character and work as accomplished in Christ and applied by the Spirit
- Congregational – the congregation is the primary voice—they are not mere spectators
- Contextual – lyrics align with the sermon text, the life of church, and the community
- Manage and oversee overall weekend flow for weekly services, working with all those involved in the service
- Weekly update service slides on ProPresenter
- Prepare special worship programs for key events throughout the year (weddings, funerals, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Metrowest gatherings, etc.)
Worship Preparation
- Oversee, coordinate, and lead worship rehearsals, ensuring that musicians and singers are well-prepared and equipped for all Sunday morning worship services
- Prepare chord charts, recordings, and other elements required to help volunteers plan and prepare for rehearsal/Sundays via Planning Center and other platforms
- Oversee the administration of the worship ministry, including scheduling volunteers, managing the worship budget, and maintaining technical equipment
- Maintain and oversee the media and worship subscriptions and licenses
Missions Responsibilities
Online Presence
- Manage, oversee, and actively maintain Milestone's online presence: website, YouTube page, app, and social media that adheres to Milestone's theological and ethical convictions
- Creatively and strategically find ways to engage the local community by digitally promoting church events and activities
- Develop a content calendar to plan and schedule communication
Community Presence
- Actively pray and consider ways to stir Milestone to zealously yearn for a great salvation in MetroWest and beyond
- Build and maintain a thriving relationship with community partners that allow Milestone to minister and share the gospel patiently, humbly, and respectfully
- Oversee, coordinate, and lead Milestone volunteers in current and future mission opportunities like: Christmas in MetroWest, Natick Days, Easter Block Party, VBA
- Adhere with all local regulations and requirements (permits and documentation) for Milestone to participate in local events
- Pursue creative and strategic ways to engage and participate in appropriate community events and opportunities that would serve to open doors for the gospel to be shared
- Communicate and coordinate with mission teams to help accomplish missionary endeavors
- Build and maintain an open line of communication with our missionary partners that provides Milestone with ministry updates and ways to pray and support our partners
- Work with the Elders to grow Milestone's missional heart by expanding our local, regional, and global partners for whom we pray for, financially support, and routinely visit
- Creatively and strategically find ways to engage the local community by physically promoting church events and activities (inviter cards, flyers, etc.)
- Develop a content calendar to plan and schedule communication
- Plan and oversee the missions budget
Position Compensation
The salary range for this full-time position is $55,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience, qualification, and education.
